Crock Pot  Cube Steak

Make a tender, delicious crock pot cube steak easily your slow cooker! This hearty country style steak is a family favorite!

– Cube steaks – Montreal steak seasoning – White mushrooms sliced – All-purpose flour – Beef broth

Step 1

Spray the crock pot with cooking spray. Place the cube steaks in the bottom then sprinkle with Montreal steak seasoning.

Step 2

Heat oil in a large skillet. Then sauté onions and mushrooms, until dry and beginning to brown.

Step 3

Stir in flour and Montreal steak seasoning, and cook. Add and stir broth and Worcestershire sauce to deglaze the skillet, and bring to a simmer.

Step 4

Pour the mushroom gravy over the steaks. Place the lid on the crockpot and slow cook for 6 to 7 hours on Low or 3 to 4 hours on High.

Step 5

Use tongs to remove the steaks to a plate or serving dish. Pour the heavy cream into the slow cooker.

Step 6

Spoon mushroom cream sauce over the steaks before serving.

This country style steak is best served over mashed potatoes or rice. Some people prefer it with buttered egg noodles.
