12ounceswhite chocolate chips or white melting wafers
1tablespooncoconut oil
16piecesNutter Butter cookies
edible candy eyeballs
mini M&M’s
Instructions
Line a baking sheet with parchment paper and set aside. You’ll want that ready before you start dipping the cookies, so things go quickly once you begin.
Melt (1) 12-ounce package of white chocolate chips and 1 tablespoon of coconut oil in a microwave-safe bowl. Start with 30 seconds, stir, and continue in 15-second intervals until the mixture is smooth. Stir it well between each burst to prevent scorching.
Dip each Nutter Butter cookie into the melted white chocolate using a fork or dipping tool. Let the excess white chocolate drip off, then gently lay it on the prepared baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
While the coating is still wet, press on two candy eyeballs, a mini orange M&M for the nose, and three more mini M&Ms down the body for buttons.
Let the cookies sit at room temperature or pop the tray into the fridge for about 10–15 minutes until the chocolate is set.
Serve and ENJOY!

TFN Pro Tips
If your white chocolate starts to thicken as you go, just warm it back up for 10–15 seconds.
Don’t skip the coconut oil! It helps the white chocolate stay smooth and easier to work with.
You can switch up the colors of the buttons or even add mini scarves or hats if you’re feeling fancy!
Work on one cookie at a time. Dip, decorate, and move on to the next. The chocolate sets quickly, so it’s best to finish each snowman before starting the next one.
Recipe Variations
Marshmallow melt snowmen: Turn your snowman cookies into a gooey winter treat by pressing a toasted marshmallow between two cookies before dipping. Coat in candy melts and dust with confectioners’ sugar or powdered sugar “snow.” Finish with tiny snowflakes or sprinkles for decoration.
Cookie dough frosted snowmen: Spread a layer of edible cookie dough frosting between two cookies before coating in chocolate. Mix the frosting with a touch of vanilla, flour (heat-treated), and a beaten egg substitute for texture. Once set, drizzle with white cookie icing and top with mini candies for a sweet twist on classic snowmen.
Make Ahead and Storing Instructions
These are great to make ahead! You can prep them 2–3 days before a party, cookie tray, or classroom event. Just make sure they’re completely dry before storing, and avoid exposing them to heat, as this can cause them to melt or smear.
Once they’re completely set, store the snowmen in an airtight container. Store them at room temperature for up to 5 days, or refrigerate them if your kitchen is warm. Just make sure they’re stacked with parchment between layers if you're stacking them up.
