Notes
For the crispiest, golden brown toast on your chicken club sandwiches, lightly butter each slice of bread before toasting. This adds extra flavor and crunch! Want even more flavor? Sprinkle a pinch of black pepper or a dash of lemon juice over the lettuce and tomatoes before assembling for a refreshing twist.
Recipe Variations:
Air fryer chicken club: Cook the chicken breast in the air fryer for a crispy, juicy result that’s faster and healthier than pan-frying.
BBQ: Swap the classic mayo for a smoky BBQ sauce and add caramelized onions for extra depth of flavor.
Turkey sandwich: Replace the chicken slices with turkey breast for a lighter alternative that’s just as delicious.
Storing Instructions:
If you have leftovers from this chicken sandwich recipe, you can save them in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to one day.
It’s best to make these sandwiches fresh, rather than storing leftovers, since they don’t hold up well after the first day.
