Ingredients In Our Christmas Chex Mix Recipe
- Chex cereal – Corn, wheat, rice… any variety works. Or, use a combination of several kinds!
- Pretzels – grids or sticks are best, because they’re small enough to grab with a handful of the other goodies!
- Nuts – We love adding honey roasted peanuts to our Chex crack mix.
- White chocolate chips – You can use any kind of chocolate you like, but white chips are the most addictive.
- Christmas M&Ms – Red and green candies give the party mix a festive color. If you can’t find the holiday bags, you can pick the red and green ones out of a regular bag of M&Ms. 😉

How to Store White Chocolate Christmas Crack
You can store this mix in a Ziploc bag or an airtight container for up to 6 days at room temperature. Or store it longer by freezing it in a freezer-safe bag or container for up to 3 months.
Make sure to let the mix cool completely before storing it. Otherwise, the mixture will get soggy.
Frequently Asked Questions
The key to making sure your Chex Mix doesn’t get soggy is to let it cool completely before storing it. If you store it while it’s still warm, the chocolate will get all melty, and the mix will be soggy. But if you let it cool completely, it will stay nice and crisp!
To preserve the freshness, you can always store it in the fridge if you want. But you don’t need to refrigerate this mix. Just store it in a cool, dry place.
If you live in a very warm climate, you may want to store it in the fridge, so the chocolate doesn’t melt.
